A leading FMCG company & Largest exporter in Egypt, is currently seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the warehousing and logistics function of the company. This includes efficiently handling the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, as well as ensuring compliance with warehouse processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end warehouse processes, including receiving, put away, warehousing, stock controls, dispatch, and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs to optimize efficiency.
  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
  • Facilitate inventory management and demand planning to maintain sufficient stock levels.
  • Track goods and services to ensure delivery meets specifications and standards.
  • Provide work plans, assign tasks, and appraise results for the warehouse and logistics team.
  • Build and manage a network of third-party service providers.
  • Coordinate with finance and audit for stocktaking and reconciliation.
  • Regularly review warehouse layout for optimal space utilization.
  • Develop and implement a logistics strategy to optimize the movement and warehousing of goods.
  • Maintain proper documentation and inventory control.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supplies, Stores and Inventory Management, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in FMCG industry is a must.
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and quality management processes.
  • Strong understanding of materials control and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with warehousing principles and procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of Kaizen, GMP, and factory processes and technology.
