Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a keen eye for optimizing business processes and a deep understanding of technology's role in driving efficiency and innovation. With at least 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, the ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to analyzing and improving business operations, ensuring alignment with our technological capabilities and compliance requirements, including SOX. This role is crucial for someone passionate about translating complex business needs into effective technology solutions, with a strong focus on enhancing business processes and system functionalities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, analysis, and improvement of business processes within the organization, ensuring optimal efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather and document business requirements, focusing on process optimization and solution effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies (including unit testing, end-to-end testing, and regression testing) to validate the functionality and performance of proposed solutions.
  • Employ a deep understanding of SOX compliance to ensure that business processes and technology solutions meet regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business units and IT teams, facilitating clear and effective communication of business needs and technical solutions.
  • Create detailed documentation of business processes, system requirements, and testing outcomes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
  • Recommend and help to implement technology solutions that enhance business operations, supported by thorough analysis and a clear business case.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a business analyst, with significant expertise in business process analysis and optimization.
  • Proven experience with SOX compliance and its impact on business processes and technology solutions.
  • Strong background in testing methodologies, including unit testing, end-to-end testing, and regression testing, to ensure solution integrity.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with a proven ability to identify improvements and execute changes effectively.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with both business and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, as well as a strong command of MS Office Suite.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus but not required.
