Team Manager - Sales Property

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible to support and manage a sales team within a specified cluster. You need to have the ability to guide the team to success whilst keeping your finger on the pulse and being commercially aware of what is happening in the market.

In this role, you will:

  • Manages team of Sales Account Managers to achieve area target
  • Sets monthly targets to their teams (Sales Account Managers for existing business)
  • Monitors team performance and motivates them to achieve team and individual targets
  • Tracks and maintains records of team sales, payments and account reviews
  • Involved in hiring for the team / area according to the profile
  • Trains team members on sales technique, product, upsell and cross sell
  • Sources feedback to marketing, operations and tech team for enhancing product effectiveness, client issues and concerns
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research and channelize it internally for effective measures and follow ups
  • Verification of agency data/ numbers in the respective area to analyse growth opportunities and determining recruiting needs ​Establishing, maintaining and expanding the​ customer base through effective team management and allocating new agencies to existing team
  • Keeping track of agency pools and verified agency data in their area. Sources feedback to and from operations and the sales team for effective planning and execution
  • Keeping up to date with competitor’s products and packages
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Valid UAE license required
  • Requires a minimum of 6 years sales experience and a minimum of 2 years of people management experience
  • In-depth understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market and the needs of assigned accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of the local market
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, and competence displayed in challenging sales scenarios
  • Demonstrates an expert level of objection handling tactics and identify real objections
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills
  • Problem solvers and excellent decision making skills
  • Hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
