The opportunity

Presight is in search of a visionary Senior Manager - Strategic Projects. Reporting to the Senior Director for Strategic Projects, this pivotal role demands the oversight, coordination, and execution of large-scale initiatives that are central to the company's strategic direction. The Senior Manager will act as the linchpin between diverse stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication, adherence to timelines, and successful delivery of project objectives.

This role places a premium on meticulous organization, effective resource management, and rigorous project governance to guarantee the efficient and timely execution of initiatives. Furthermore, the Senior Manager will serve as the Program Management Office (PMO), responsible for monthly progress reporting and will work closely with subject matter experts to ensure the success of projects. An additional dimension of the role is fostering cross-departmental collaboration to advance overarching objectives, enhancing synergy across departments, stakeholders, and Presight partners.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research Excellence:
• Conduct in-depth market research to uncover valuable insights that drive our strategic projects.
• Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
• Feasibility Assessments:
• Evaluate the market potential of new ideas and conduct preliminary feasibility assessments.
• Assess risks and opportunities associated with potential projects.
• Financial Modelling and Valuations:
• Develop and refine financial models to assess the viability of investments and project outcomes.
• Conduct company valuations to provide a clear picture of potential investments.
• Strategic Recommendations:
• Translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
• Create presentation materials that effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate closely with the Strategic Projects Director and cross-functional teams to provide analytical support during ideation and project implementation.
• Act as a key liaison between project teams and stakeholders.
• Industry Insight:
• Stay updated on industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices to inform project strategies.
• Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in project methodologies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (Master's or MBA) is a plus.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in investment banking, marketing, research, fund, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or management consulting is essential. Proven experience in project analysis and execution is preferred.
• Financial Expertise: Strong financial acumen and experience in financial modelling, market analysis, and company valuations.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks.
