About the role:

The BDR role is essential for maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and providing the sales team with a steady stream of potential customers. It serves as a crucial bridge between marketing and sales efforts, enabling the sales representatives to focus on closing deals while the BDRs handle the early stages of the sales process.

Key responsibilities of an BDR may include:

  • Lead Generation: Using various methods to find and identify potential customers who could be interested in the company's products or services.
  • Qualification: Assessing the leads' needs and interest level to determine if they fit the company's target customer profile.
  • Initial Outreach: Initiating contact with leads through cold calls, emails, or other forms of communication to introduce the company and its offerings.
  • Product/Service Knowledge: Developing a solid understanding of the company's products or services to effectively communicate their value to potential customers.
  • Appointment Setting: Scheduling appointments or meetings between qualified leads and the appropriate sales representatives.
  • Database Management: Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and progress in a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads for further engagement.
  • Performance Metrics: Meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation and qualification.

What we are looking for:

  • A must-have experience in restaurant reservation management / OTA / Cloud
  • At least three years of proven relevant work experience in hospitality software & the F&B industry
  • Sales experience in an F&B software company (UAE/GCC experience is a must)
  • Superb presentation skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Skills (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • A high degree of understanding of technology, CRM maintenance & experience (Zoho would be a plus!)
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills (English and Arabic would be a plus!)
  • Fast learning ability coupled with a passion for sales & technology.
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
