About the job:

As a Merchant Acquisition Specialist at Money Fellows your primary responsibilities are enlarging the merchant base, establishing commercial agreements, capitalizing on transaction-based commissions, and maintaining great relationships with merchants with continuous efficient monetization. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential large-scale merchants for corporate deals, considering the alignment of their products or services with our prepaid card customer base. 
  • Initiate contact with potential merchants, effectively communicating the benefits of partnering with our company, such as increased customer reach, brand exposure, and additional revenue streams. 
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions for both our company and the merchant, including discounted rates for cardholders and commission structures on transactions. 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop joint promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives to drive customer awareness and engagement with the prepaid card at partner merchant locations. 
  • Act as the main point of contact for partner merchants, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive ongoing relationships to foster long-term collaboration. 
  •  manage the merchant as an account by monitoring and analysing transaction data and performance metrics related to partner merchants, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to optimize the partnership and increase transaction volumes. 
  • Provide ongoing support to existing merchant accounts, delivering regular performance reviews, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing strategies to enhance merchant engagement and satisfaction.

متطلبات الوظيفة

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Acquisition  
  • Proven experience as a Merchants Acquisition Manager or a similar role, preferably in the financial or payment services industry. 
  • Extensive knowledge of merchant acquisition strategies and techniques. 
  • Strong understanding of the retail industry and familiarity with e-commerce platforms. 
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. 
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with merchants and internal stakeholders. 
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software. 
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
