You will be working as Quality & Continuous improvement Specialist and will be the part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Quality & Continuous improvement manager and will be responsible for managing the testing process (internal testing, Factory Acceptance Test with customers) to assure customer satisfaction of product quality and performance and ensure fulfillment of safety requirements, driving and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement in which you will create and lead processes to facilitate the implementation of quality and continuous improvement projects from ideation to a sustainable positive result for the local organization and mastering multiple projects by utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and creating transparency to monitor progress

Your responsibilities

• Performing the analysis and communication of customer perceptions
• Using systematic approach to lead daily and tier management for quality and other performance indicators utilizing visualization aids
• Guiding the local improvement actions toward greater customer satisfaction using the appropriate problem-solving methodologies, involving all stake holders like production, supplier quality, engineering and R&D
• Leading the implementation of lean foundations such as 5S and other lean practices such as TPM, JIT, value stream maps and lean logistics
  
  

Your background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering or similar field
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in power fields, electrical testing and handling power products issues, experience using 8D/problem solving methodologies, proven track record in applying Lean and L6S methodologies
• Hands-on and problem-solving mentality to challenge “status quo”, high customer and solution orientation, paired with a communicative personality, ability to determine quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures
• Sound knowledge of Lean and six sigma, sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Minitab are an asset
• Fluency in both English and Arabic language is mandatory
