Financial Analyst

BTECH is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic finance team. As a Financial Analyst at BTECH, you will analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading omni-channel retailer in Egypt.

In this role, you will work closely with the finance team to develop financial models, conduct financial research, and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. You will also collaborate with other departments to evaluate cost-reduction strategies and revenue maximization opportunities. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving business growth through financial analysis.

Prepare budgets and forecasts

Develop, maintain, and update monthly budget and financial forecasts

Analyse variances between actual results and budgets/forecasts, providing insights into the drivers of performance

Conduct financial analysis

Analyze financial data in depth, becoming a subject matter expert to identify trends, risks, and additional insights

Calculate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics

Develop and maintain financial models

Develop and maintain a financial model to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making, using inputs from various business functions (e.g., commercial)

Support business decision-making

Evaluate the financial impact and sensitivity of various assumptions to support business decisions (e.g., pricing strategy, timing of cash disbursement)

Monitor expenses

Monitor and analyze company expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements

Prepare management reports

Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports for senior management

Communicate financial performance and trends to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner

Identify and report funding needs

Identify and highlight funding needs based on budgets and forecasts

Support Investor Relations Manager in preparing equity story
