Job Main Scope

As Category Finance Business Partner & Analyst (FP&A) expert, you will report to the finance Manager.

Your responsibilities will include providing financial insights and projections to the team. You will provide reliable data and analysis to be used in decision-making and planning.

You will prepare accurate monthly financial reports, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.

Job Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
  • Partner directly with the cross functional team to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
  • Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
  • Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
  • Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Educational background

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance / economics
  • CMA certification is an advantage

Relevant Experience

  • Years of experience: 4 - 6 years with at least 2 years of experience in similar role
  • FMCG experience is a must.
  • Preferably previous experience in positions of financial analyst, business partnering & Net Revenue Management (NRM), with a proven track record of responsibility for financial analysis

Interpersonal Skills Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated strong written, presentation skills in English and ability to synthesize and present information effectively and tailored to different audiences
  • Excellent business judgment and problem-solving skills to identify issues, present creative, practical solutions, and make and commit to sound decisions, anticipating short- and long-term implications
  • High degree of diplomacy and sensitivity in dealing with different kind of stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong organizational skill with high ability to work under pressure with ability
  • Strong leadership skills and coaching with growth mindset
