As a Bookkeeping Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions and records. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and generating reports. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for finance and a desire to work within a diverse and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and managing account balances
  • Prepare, verify, and process invoices and expense reports
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports using our accounting software
  • Assist with budget preparation and tracking expenses
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports to management
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Stay updated on relevant accounting and financial regulations to ensure legal compliance

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Bookkeeping Officer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
