We are looking for a dedicated individual who shares our passion for sustainable and high-quality agricultural practices. This is a full-time, year-round position in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain crops by preparing soil, planting, weeding, fertilizing, and harvesting according to seasonal schedules and best practices.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust farming techniques accordingly.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, equipment, and irrigation systems.
- Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of farm animals, including feeding, grooming, and administering medications as needed.
- Perform regular maintenance on farm buildings, equipment, and fencing.
- Keep accurate records of farm operations, including crop yields, animal records, and inventory.
- Identify and take appropriate actions to address pests, diseases, and other crop-related issues.
- Ensure that all farming practices meet organic and sustainable standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute strategies for farm growth and improvement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Experience operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing farm needs and schedules.
- Understanding of plant and animal health and the ability to identify and address potential issues.
- Passion for agriculture and enthusiasm to learn and grow with the farm.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding production targets.
