Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join one of our portfolio companies. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of software engineers and guiding them in the development of robust and scalable software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. This is a leadership role that offers the opportunity to drive innovation and contribute to the growth and success of our ventures.
Technical Lead, Responsibilities:
- Lead backend development efforts using .NET, with proficiency in React, JavaScript, or Python, to create secure and scalable healthcare solutions.
- Work closely with product management to understand end-user needs, translating complex healthcare requirements into functional software.
- Architect systems and applications that strictly adhere to HIPAA and other compliance standards, ensuring patient data protection and privacy.
- Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols, staying abreast of the latest in healthcare IT security and compliance regulations.
- Write clean and efficient code and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Guide and mentor a squad of developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on project goals and progress.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and advancements and identify opportunities for improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in software, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Significant experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Developer in backend development, specifically with .NET framework.
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript, or Python, with a strong understanding of frontend-backend integration.
- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA compliance and experience developing healthcare solutions within regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead development teams and collaborate effectively with product management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable and secure systems.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HealthTech.
- Experience with cloud platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of web development frameworks and technologies.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
