Lift Technician

The Lift Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems .

This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and functional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems within IIQAF premises.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure that all lifts are functioning properly and adhere to safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions in lifts and escalators.
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, control panels, and safety devices.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed on lifts and escalators.
• Liaise with lift manufacturers and suppliers for technical support and assistance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Certification in Lift/Elevator Maintenance or a relevant technical field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls.
