Machinery Mechanic

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Machinery Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for maintaining and repairing machinery. As a Machinery Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment including but not limited to: production line machinery, conveyor systems, and packaging equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including regular inspections, repairs, and replacements.
• Train and mentor junior mechanics on equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
• Comply with all safety regulations and follow proper procedures while handling and operating machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  
  

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
