We are currently seeking an experienced Offshore Rigger to join our team. This role will involve rigging and lifting equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-operational checks on rigging equipment and ensure all equipment is in good working condition
- Rig and lift equipment using proper techniques, tools, and equipment
- Operate rigging and crane equipment, following all safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Troubleshoot any rigging equipment issues and report any problems to the supervisor
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Offshore Rigger in the oil and gas industry
- Valid Rigging Certification (IIW, LEEA, NSL or equivalent)
- Knowledge of rigging and lifting equipment, including slings, shackles, hooks, and cranes
- Familiarity with lifting plans and rigging procedures
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
