As a Supermarket Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our supermarket, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and profitability. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a strong understanding of retail operations and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the efficient and effective operation of the supermarket, including maintaining inventory levels, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and managing staff
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, and improve overall performance
  • Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to make informed decisions about purchasing and pricing
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
  • Train, supervise, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports on sales, expenses, and other key performance indicators to management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in retail operations, preferably in a supermarket setting
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
