About the Job:

We’re looking for an ​extremely entrepreneurial product enthusiast ​to help innovate and execute product initiatives across the flight vertical. The ideal candidate has a background in ideating & building solutions for real customer problems. In this dynamic role, you will deep dive into finding out what really motivates travelers and build solutions to enable travelers.


Responsibilities:

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate within an integrated team (UX, Product, Tech) to create new features across web, mobile, and native app platforms, ensuring a consistent user experience.
  • Analytical Prioritization: Use analytical methods to focus on high-impact solutions for identified problems, delivering maximum value to users and the business.
  • Objective Translation: Translate customer and business goals into measurable results throughout the product life cycle, tracking progress effectively.
  • Product Growth Collaboration: Collaborate with other product teams for expansion into new verticals, leveraging opportunities for synergy.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with Marketing, Content, Finance, Data, and Business Operations to implement enhancements efficiently.
  • Continuous Research: Actively participate in ongoing qualitative and quantitative research to pinpoint and prioritize customer problems, driving product improvements.
  • A/B Testing and Optimization: Conduct A/B tests using tools such as Split.io to enhance features, maximize product value, and improve the user experience.
  • Experiment Communication: Translate experiment findings into user stories and criteria for smooth implementation by development and QA teams.
  • Scrum Methodology Implementation: Drive team performance using scrum practices, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Efficiency Assurance: Lead scrum ceremonies and processes to ensure high-quality and timely deliveries.

  • Tracking Tools Familiarity: Proficient in tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, and Quantum metrics for informed decision-making.
  • API Endpoint Understanding (Plus): Proficiency in API endpoints, considered advantageous for seamless data exchange in feature development.
  • Arabic Proficiency (Plus): Proficiency in Arabic for effective communication with Arabic-speaking stakeholders and Saudi customers.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (min 3 years) as an Assistant Manager Product within the travel and tourism industry or similar industry, demonstrating a track record of successful product launches and improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills including proficiency in SQL for data analysis, experience in reading and interpreting data from Tableau dashboards, and capability in navigating Google Analytics. Proficiency in Google Analytics event creation is a plus.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making, leveraging insights derived from various analytical tools to make informed and insightful product decisions.
  • Experience in translating data insights into actionable product improvements, iterating based on user behavior and market trends to drive product success.
