متطلبات الوظيفة
- Proficiency in operating systems, particularly Windows and Linux, is essential.
- Collaborate closely with vendors and suppliers for procurement, support, and maintenance activities.
- Participate in all engineering phases of backup software and storage solutions delivery, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and transition to operational support.
- Install backup software, perform system maintenance, and manage product upgrades in a 24x7 high-availability environment.
- Address off-site tape management and backup storage issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with Database Administrators (DBAs) and internal system administrators to ensure the backup and maintenance of production systems are optimized.
- Work with various internal teams and auditors to generate audit reports promptly.
- Contribute insights to the analysis, design, and implementation of performance management and capacity planning services related to backup infrastructure.
- Monitor the production environment proactively and take corrective action as needed.
- Champion changes and enhancements to improve performance and reliability in alignment with established IT performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Hands-on experience with BackupExec, Veeam, Qnap, and Tape Library systems.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, particularly Windows and Linux.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, internal teams, and auditors.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24x7 high-availability environment.
- Professional certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
