Senior Interior Designer/Design Manager

Were looking for a Senior Interior Designer/Design Manager who had a strong design background and has experience on the concept stages through to managing the consultancies and contractors in the construction phases for a fantastic developer in Dubai.

You should have a minimum of 5 years experience working for a consultancy or developer in UAE and have experience reporting/presenting to board members.

Responsibilities and experience:

• Youll be able to demonstrate your coordination experience throughout all stages of the interior design development process from concept to handover.- Develop the interior design brand standards for different markets
• Provides input to the project schedules and monitors progress of interior design elements.
• Assists the Project Manager with overall design intent, procurement options and material selections.- Advises and resolves design related issues that arise during construction.
• Reviews shop drawings, samples, material submittals, etc.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years post qualification experience in interior design or architecture with an interior design qualification essential.
• Minimum 5 years UAE experience.
• Revit experience would be ideal but not essential
• AutoCAD and design software a must.
• Should currently be working on hotel, high-rise and high-end residential projects.
• Experience in all stages of the design process from concept through to construction.
• Previous involvement in value engineering and cost effective measures preferred.
• Excellent design and drafting skills and proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD).
• Organisational, project management and planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Previous experience chairing meetings and workshops.
• You must be able to show your design capabilities and breadth of knowledge within your portfolio.
