Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer specializing in Security Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network solutions for our organization. Your expertise with PaloAlto, Fortinet, and F5 technologies will be crucial in ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Network Security Architecture: Design and architect secure network solutions utilizing PaloAlto, Fortinet, and F5 technologies to protect our organization's assets from internal and external threats.
2. Implementation and Configuration: Deploy, configure, and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), and load balancers to enforce security policies and optimize network performance.
3. Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Investigate and resolve network security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
4. Security Policy Management: Develop and enforce network security policies, access controls, and compliance standards to ensure regulatory requirements and industry best practices are met.
5. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify security gaps and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, security policies, and incident response procedures. Generate regular reports on network security performance and compliance.
7. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT operations, cybersecurity, and application development to align network security requirements with business objectives. Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
