One of our prestigious clients is looking to hire a Food Runner, In the Restaurant Industry who will be responsible for but not limited to:

Job Summary:

As a Food Runner, your primary responsibility is the swift and accurate delivery of orders from the assigned pass section to guest tables. Working in collaboration with servers, you contribute to creating a positive dining experience through efficient service and meticulous attention to guest needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver orders and other requests to guest tables promptly and accurately.
  • Assist and support servers on the floor when required.
  • Handle the assigned pass section, ensuring the accurate delivery of orders.
  • Support servers by setting up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers, and bus stations.
  • Assist in setting up tables with appropriate tableware, utensils, decorations, and other necessities.
  • Clean and set up tables efficiently to receive new guests according to established standards.
  • Maintain table settings by removing completed courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling water glasses.
  • Provide knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Understand and anticipate customer needs, consistently checking for any additional requirements.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all menu items to describe and recommend products to guests.
  • Ensure minimum wastage, breakage, and spoilage.
  • Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures, following health and safety practices at all times.
  • Carry out additional tasks as instructed by the management.


Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role in the hospitality or F&B field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service and guest relations skills.
  • Pleasant and professional personality, demonstrating the ability to work under pressure.


Education and Training:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in Hospitality or F&B.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move swiftly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays or items as needed.
