We are looking for a PHP Developer Intern responsible for developing features in a back-office for an online marketplace. Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, maintaining and improving the database and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests through API. You will also be interacting with back-office UI therefore a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

What you will be doing

  • Build efficient, testable and reusable PHP APIs
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  • Integration of data storage solutions
  • Maintain develop back-office functionalities
  • Write "clean", well-designed code
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field
  • Some academic experience in software development in PHP
  • Basic knowledge in MySQL/MariaDB
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good time management
  • English proficiency
