This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in human resources and housing management within a dynamic hospitality environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain practical skills and insights into various HR functions while contributing to the overall success of the organization.

As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

  • Support the Human Resources (HR) department in various administrative tasks, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations.
  • Assist with maintaining employee records, updating databases, and filing documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Participate in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings of candidates.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee orientation and training programs, ensuring new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization.
  • Provide support in organizing employee events, activities, and recognition programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist with housing management tasks, including coordinating accommodation arrangements for staff, maintaining housing inventory, and addressing residents' inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with the HR team and other departments on special projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee experience.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS software is desirable.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, with a willingness to learn and contribute to team projects.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Prior experience or coursework in human resources, housing management, or hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Availability to work full-time hours, depending on internship requirements.
