JOB PURPOSE:

This role is primarily responsible for processing the following category of Islamic Finances and related transactions. Also Provide support back-office service to Business Units (Retail, Direct Sales, branches, and Staff Unit) and manage efficiently the flow of work utilizing the available resources without compromising risk and service standards.

Ensure full compliance with Sharia guidelines and enforce proper controls for the safety custody of documents.

Personal Finance, Auto Finance, Vanilla Mortgage/Ijara and Staff Finance including below activities which comprises part of the disbursal process: -

➢ Manual Block Placements/Release

➢ Manual Settlement of existing facilities

➢ Internal Transfer of funds (A2A)

➢ Issuance of Manager’s Cheques and Guarantee Letter

➢ Manually set up profit rate in T24 for Vanilla Mortgage

➢ Set up customized payment schedule

➢ Fee recovery

➢ Tranche payment & MC issuance or remittance

Also, processing of maintenance/Financial activities like:

➢ Deferment

➢ Full and Partial Settlement of Islamic facilities

➢ Past Due Recovery and PD Reversal

➢ Facility parameter changes like repayment date, instalment change

➢ Facility Cancellation

➢ Write off

➢ Blocking, unblocking and block adjustment

Minimum Qualification

▪ Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting and Finance or related discipline.

Minimum Experience

▪ 4-5 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 2 years in similar position.
