Skin Cleansing Research and Development

Personal Care is growing business of Unilever with change in Market dynamics Unilever is responding effectively.

Job Main Purpose

The purpose of the Skin Cleansing product development in North Africa, Levant & Iraq (NALI) region will be to support Unilever Skin Cleansing brands through category design activities in NALI involving across formats and channel while focusing on soap bars and liquids. Additional work will center around new product forms and sourcing which create new opportunities for flexibility speed and savings. This will involve working with internal R&D teams, Procurement, Marketing, Brand and Supply Chain both locally and globally as well as external suppliers. One of the important aspects of this position is leading innovation for skin cleansing, getting local insights and transform it into bigger and differentiated innovations.

Job Main Responsibilities

Digital Proficiency:

  • Foster collaboration and communication across Global cluster and local teams for cohesive project delivery.

Product Development Expertise

  • Possess knowledge of soap bars ingredients liquids formulation and product development processes.
  • Creatively contribute to the development of innovative products aligning with market trends and consumer needs.

Quality Assurance

Conduct troubleshooting in case of quality issues during batch making.

Ensure rigorous adherence to quality standards and implement corrective measures as needed.

Compliance And Legislative Understanding

Understand and stay informed about country legislative standards providing an added advantage to operational processes.

Time Management And Priority Setting

Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and project milestones.

Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain professional networks internally and externally.

Job Main Experiences & Qualifications Required

  • Technical/Scientific degree preferably in Chemistry ,Pharmacy ,Chemical Engineering, or a relevant Science qualification will be considered.
  • At least 5 years experience in FMCG R&D and product development preferably in personal care area
