Financial Management

It's your dream team if you enjoy:

• Overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Participating in developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accurate and reliable financial information.
• Managing the company's cash flow and ensure optimal utilization of funds for business operations and investments.
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, Business plan and forecasts, providing regular reports to senior management.
  
  

Compliance And Taxation

• Ensuring compliance with regulations and tax laws relevant to the consumer finance industry.
• Coordinating and supporting the preparation of tax filings, including income tax, sales tax, and any other required tax reports.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and industry best practices, implementing necessary adjustments accordingly.
  
  

Financial Auditing And Risk Management

• Coordinating annual financial audits and liaising with external financial auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial audits.
• Identifying and address potential financial risks and recommend measures to safeguard company assets.
  
  

Team Leadership And Development

• Managing and mentoring a team of accountants, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and equipped to perform their roles effectively.
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the accounting team and across the organization.
  
  

The Keys To Unlock This Vacancy Are

• 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within an eCommerce or fintech startup environment.
• Proven experience in consumer finance.
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
