Jadeer is hiring on behalf of one of its clients. A leading company in the door hardware manufacturing industry in the Egyptian market.

Job Title: Material Sourcing Procurement Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Analyze market trends, conduct research, and identify potential suppliers and vendors to meet the organization's procurement needs.
  • Supplier Evaluation and Selection: Assess and evaluate potential suppliers based on various criteria such as quality, reliability, financial stability, capacity, and pricing. Conduct supplier audits, site visits, and due diligence to ensure suppliers meet the organization's standards and requirements.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers, considering factors such as quality, delivery schedules, payment terms, and service level agreements. Ensure contracts align with legal and regulatory requirements and protect the organization's interests.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Regularly review supplier performance, resolve issues, and monitor compliance with contractual obligations. Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and cost savings.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, such as supply disruptions, quality issues, or changes in regulations. Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to minimize the organization's exposure to risks.
  • Cost Optimization: Drive cost optimization initiatives by identifying opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, and process improvements. Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and optimal total cost of ownership.
  • Supplier Diversity and Sustainability: Promote supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives by engaging with diverse suppliers and integrating sustainability criteria into supplier selection and evaluation processes. Support the organization's corporate social responsibility goals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including departments such as operations, finance, legal, and quality assurance, to understand their procurement needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly. Ensure effective communication and coordination to meet organizational objectives.
  • Procurement Systems and Processes: Utilize procurement systems and tools to streamline processes, track supplier performance, manage contracts, and generate reports. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement and sourcing.
  • Compliance and Ethical Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement activities. Adhere to internal policies and procedures, promote fair and transparent procurement practices, and mitigate any potential conflicts of interest.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Engineering Educational background.
  • Proven minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, in manufacturing, industrial, building materials, or steel industries.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using procurement systems and tools.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and supplier diversity initiatives is a plus.
