JOB TITLE

Project Manager - Fit-Out | MAF Retail | Egypt Head Office

ROLE SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the overall project execution of projects assigned including project planning, execution, monitoring and control in line with set plans and budget. The role holder is also responsible for acquiring resources, coordinating efforts of team members and vendors/consultants to deliver projects according to the plan in addition to defining the project objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its lifecycle.

ROLE PROFILE

• Create and execute project plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Develop and implement plans for project teams. Appoint, monitor and support project managers and team for the delivery of projects in time, budget and scope requirements.
• Participate in selection of appropriate contractors and consultants for assigned projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the approved quality.
• Monitor and ensure that contracts pertaining to projects assigned are honored and that contractors/consultants/third party occupiers seek to fulfil commitments as per contract agreement and achieve agreed KPIs.
• Manage coordination with all stakeholders including vendors, contractors and consultants during design, tender, execution and handover stages of the project.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Civil)
• Minimum 7 years in operations or project management
• 3+ years in the retail business or closely related industry
• PMP is preferred.
