JOB PURPOSE:

Implementing effective communication strategies to promote and enhance the reputation and visibility of ADNOC. Work closely with cross-functional teams, Communication management and other stakeholders to drive communication strategies and initiatives that align with ADNOC organizational goals and objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Specific Accountabilities

  • Implement comprehensive communication strategies: Collaborate with key stakeholders to create and execute communication plans that effectively convey the ADNOC's vision, values, and key messages within the oil and gas industry.
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry associations, regulatory bodies, community organizations, investors, and media outlets. Develop effective engagement strategies to promote positive relationships and manage potential challenges.
  • Measurement and analysis: Support in developing, determining and updating the function’s KPIs and BSC in line with relevant strategies & plans. Track and analyze relevant metrics, provide insights, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Conducts periodic reviews of Group Communication KPIs and BSC to ensure KPIs & BSC are on track, realistic and achievable.
  • Assist the Manager/VP with internal operational requirements, ensuring any problems are resolved.
  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.    

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • 9 years of relevant experience of relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, Branding functions within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas.
  • Proven experience in communications strategy and planning, specifically within the oil and gas industry.
  • Deep understanding of the oil and gas sector, including its dynamics, challenges, and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of strategic communication principles and practices within the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience in managing media relations, including a network of industry-specific media contacts.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
