Sales Cashier

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Cashier to join our team. As a Sales Cashier, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, processing payments, and providing exceptional service. You will also play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that products are properly displayed, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance as needed.
• Scan and process merchandise accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
• Handle cash transactions, including giving and receiving change, and process credit card payments.
• Maintain an organized and clean sales floor by restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and removing expired or damaged items.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and unpacking merchandise, and conducting regular stock checks.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and promote a positive working environment.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail role is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
