You will be working as Automation Engineer and will be the part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Product manager and will be responsible to support ABB’s business strategy by developing and managing a preferred supply base that enhances ABB’s competitiveness and success of our customers

Your responsibilities

• Studying customer requirement for RTU and SCADA based on the specs and conducted meetings, preparing the system architecture and Bill of materials accordingly, programming and commissioning of RTU/SCADA and relays based on different communication protocols

• rming all the activities related to assigned projects including preparation of drawings, BOM, schematics and automation drawings, identifying the best automation solution that meets the customer requirementsSuppo
• rting in testing this solution and give the after sales service, implementing latest ABB technologies related to the product and being sure of following ABB processes related to this activity, technical studies and reviewing for orders in hand to be sure that all client specification is strictly followedHavin
• g direct interaction with clients, supporting clients in the favor of the company by promoting ABB products, working in cooperation with engineering manager, project management and planning in order to evenly load the factory production line, job holder shall be in control and knowledge of the orders running in hand Clear
• ing all the related difficulties and comments related to his assigned tasks to release the order for manufacturing, monitoring the department key performance indicators such as FPY and OPQ, continuous monitoring and analysis are of the main responsibilities of the job holder and defining the criteria of measurements is also key parameter of performanceInter
• acting with key clients as input for product marketing, supporting clients in the favor of the company by promoting ABB products and also leaving positive impression about ABB employees and he is one of the team in direct contacts with ABB clientsImpro
• ving customer experience is also a key parameter of the job holder, he/she is part of the team collecting and resolving the customer complaints by ABB official tool which is CCRP, performing techno-commercial studiesPerfo
• rming site visits with service experts to give his technical support in the automation field to either ABB service team or customer, participating with the engineering team in the efforts to promote ABB ability solutions especially in the digital electrical solutions, performing all of the above tasks by applying ABB values>
Your background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering
Minim
• um 4 to 5 years of experience in MV switchgears experience/PLC/scada/Eplan/UTR/industrial protocolsProve
• n experience in automation systems include SCADA, RTUs, PLCs, communication networks and protection relays with related tools applications Fluen
