To provide maintenance and install equipment for operational facilities while leading their respective team in order to ensure continuous operations with minimal downtime and achieve target facility operational performance.

Job Specific Accountability

  • Leads the engineering team members within the site to ensure all engineering requirements are completed on a daily basis
  • Monitors system performance and functionality after accomplishment of any recommended modifications, maintenance tasks or significant events and special assignments to ensure proper engineering methods have been implemented after maintenance.
  • Monitors all maintenance faults, malfunctions, defects, deferred defects and other occurrences which could affect the continuing operations to avoid and minimize stoppages due to equipment failure.
  • Conducts strategy meetings with the engineering team members to review daily workloads and assignments.
  • Analyses components durability/failure trends and prepares preventive maintenance plans to keep equipment up to operational standard
  • Provides technical guidance and coaching/support for technical or operation teams to ensure individuals are equipped with the necessary skills.
  • Monitors the operating conditions, identifying and responding appropriately to problems, allocating or escalating them as necessary and monitoring and recording their rectification to minimize downtime due to equipment failure.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Minimum Experience

  • 0-3 years relevant experience in Engineering or related field.
