We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Reconciliation Officer. As a Reconciliation Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data by reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and resolving any issues in a timely manner. This is a crucial role within our organization, as it contributes to the overall financial stability and success of the company.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily, monthly, and annual reconciliation of financial accounts
- Identify, investigate, and resolve variances and discrepancies in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper data entry and accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to financial reconciliation
- Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial reconciliation and data analysis
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and financial software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
