Our client is a US-based marketing agency that is seeking a skilled Paid Ad Video Editor with a specialty in YouTube advertising and short or long-form content creation. This role involves collaborating closely with our creative team to produce compelling video ads that capture the essence of our client's brands and engage their target audiences.

The ideal candidate is adept at transforming raw footage into polished, story-driven content that resonates with viewers. You should be proficient in a variety of editing software and familiar with ClickUp for project management. If you have a passion for video storytelling and a keen eye for detail, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing and Production: Efficiently edit and compile video content according to scripts provided by our team, ensuring the final product aligns with the project's vision and objectives.
  • Collaborative Storytelling: Work closely with the content creation team to understand the narrative and bring the script to life through your editing skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize editing software (specify your expertise, e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to enhance video quality, including but not limited to cutting, compiling, color grading, and adding effects.
  • Project Management: Use ClickUp to manage tasks, timelines, and collaborations efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables.
  • Creative Input: Provide creative insights and suggestions to improve video content and engagement, staying ahead of YouTube trends and viewer preferences.
  • Feedback Implementation: Incorporate feedback from the creative team and clients to refine videos, aiming for the highest quality and impact.

  • Engaging Content Creation: Producing high-quality, engaging YouTube ads that increase viewer engagement and drive campaign success.

  • Deadline Achievement: Consistently meeting or exceeding project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality in all video outputs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in video editing, particularly with YouTube content and long-form videos. A portfolio showcasing past projects is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is essential. Familiarity with ClickUp for project management is highly desirable.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Strong creative vision with the ability to tell compelling stories through video. The ability to create vertical "16:9" short-form YT ads, and also, horizontal (9:16) video sales letters.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with the creative team and interpret feedback.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic environment, adapting to shifting priorities while maintaining creativity and precision.
