As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and help maintain the high standards that our guests have come to expect.

Job Overview:

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department. You will ensure that our guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and in accordance with company standards. You will also supervise a team of housekeeping staff, providing them with guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
  • Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality service and adherence to company standards
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure timely and efficient service for guest requests and room turnovers
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies for the housekeeping department, ensuring budget and cost control measures are followed
  • Monitor and report on the performance of housekeeping staff, providing feedback and addressing any performance issues in a timely manner
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork and open communication among housekeeping staff and other departments

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisor or similar role in a hotel or resort setting
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with housekeeping equipment and cleaning procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
