As a Sales and Marketing Management Trainee you have the unique opportunity to undergo comprehensive training and development to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of sales, recruitment, marketing, and business operations. This Programme offers a great opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of the business.

Training Programme: The Sales and Marketing Management Trainee Programme is designed to provide you with a well-rounded understanding of sales, recruitment, marketing, and business support functions. Throughout the Programme, you will work closely with experienced professionals to develop essential skills and knowledge in the core business areas: Sales, Recruitment, Marketing and Business Support.

Key Responsibilities:

1.        Recruitment

  • Learn the fundamentals of recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Gain insights into recruitment strategies, best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in recruiting activities such as job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
  • Develop communication and negotiation skills essential for building relationships with candidates and stakeholders.

2.       Sales

  •  Support the Sales team in conducting market analysis and client outreach activities, including but not limited to attending conferences and events, prospecting clients, meeting clients both virtually and in person and presenting the capabilities of the business.
  • Support the Sales team by preparation of tender documents for submission against Client requests, including content creation/storage, identifying opportunities and mapping the submission process and stakeholders involved.
  • Participle in and contribute to regular ongoing Account Management meetings with key Customers.

3.       Marketing

  • You will have the opportunity to help plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels, including SEM, PPC, SEO, social media marketing, email marketing and content marketing.
  • Assist in developing marketing campaigns, creating content, assist with the annual Salary Surveys.
  • Learn how to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
  • Plan and develop a strategic plan for a performance marketing process within WeConnect Energy using the databases available to us, external and CRM. From content creation/storage, to identifying opportunities and use cases for these reports and insights, mapping the stakeholders involved.

4.       Business Support:

  • Acquire knowledge of back-office operations, including CRM management, contract management & compliance
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Trainee Programme Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in meetings, calls, training sessions, and on-the-job learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with mentors and managers  to set learning objectives and track progress.
  • Take initiative in completing assigned tasks, projects, and rotations within specified timelines.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in transitioning between different departments and responsibilities.
  • Seek feedback, ask questions, and proactively seek opportunities for skill development and growth.

Working closely with the team and performing tasks effectively to ensure that deadlines are met in the most efficient way possible.

Organisational and Business Administration Skills

Undertaking general administration, monitoring commitments and triaging the inbox and communicating with consultants and candidates.

Ensures a customer-first focus is maintained.  Interacts with all stakeholders in a professional and polite manner.  Displays an upbeat confidence, passion and positive attitude throughout the programme. 

Personal Effectiveness Highly reliable, strong time management skills and integrity. Keen learner with excellent attention to details.  

Skills & Experience 

  • Recent university graduate with Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong academic background with a genuine interest in recruitment, marketing, and business operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently and able to self-manage.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital marketing tools/software is a plus.
  • Willingness to commit to a structured training programme with the flexibility to rotate through different departments and locations as needed.
  • Languages - fluent Arabic and proficient business English
