Overview of the role:

A Visual Merchandiser Display Stylist has to be tuned in to all areas of popular culture and creativity to bring a fresh perspective to a brand. Will be responsible for presenting products in a way that attracts customers and maximizes sales.

What you will do:

Market Trend

  • Display the brand by seasonal trends and be able to mix and match outfits in window/ in-store as per the Company’s brand standard .

Store Display Standard

  • Display window and in-store mannequins/torsos to promote the brand styling and implementation standard
  • Display window and in-store mannequins/torsos to promote a specific product or top seller promotion .
  • Coaching store people/ Visual Merchandisers on how products should be displayed on mannequins/ torsos in windows/ in-store.

Visual Style

  • Drawing designs and plans by hand or computer
  • Deciding how to use space and lighting creatively
  • Creating visual merchandising packs to send to each market/store
  • Setting up displays, and graphics, arranging action areas and implementing posters in window/indoor

Operational Effectiveness

  • New store openings, the Job holder will be responsible for physically being involved in the placement of graphics and Visual Merchandising displays.

Required Skills

Required Skills to be successful

  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Illustrator for computer-aided design work .
  • Innovative - Generates suggestions for improving work
  • Creativity and imagination
  • A good sense of design, color, style and fashion
  • Practical skills, such as carpentry and needlework, etc.

What equips you for the role:

Minimum Qualification and Knowledge:

Education : University Degree graduate preferably in Interior Design, Merchandising, or Fashion

Minimum Experience:

Minimum two years of Visual Merchandising experience in Retail Fashion business.
