Position Overview:As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the organization, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing strategic insights to support decision-making and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop realistic financial plans.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of performance and provide insights into financial trends.
- Prepare financial models and scenarios to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial statements to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, implementing policies and procedures as necessary to mitigate risks.
Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow forecasting and monitor liquidity to ensure adequate funds are available for operational needs and investment opportunities.
- Optimize cash management processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury functions.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate financing options to support business objectives and manage financial risk.
Financial Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, billing, invoicing, and expense management.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive operational efficiency.
Strategic Financial Advice:
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business development opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior management to evaluate investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic projects.
- Conduct financial due diligence and risk assessment for potential investments or partnerships.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
- Promote knowledge sharing and cross-training to enhance team capabilities and resilience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, with a track record of success in financial management and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
