Our client, a progressive health and wellness company focused on providing top-tier natural products, is looking for a dynamic Sales Development Representative to join their team.

This role is critical in representing the company’s products and services effectively, utilizing deep product knowledge and consumer insights to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will be adept at generating leads, building relationships, and driving new business opportunities through strategic outreach and persistent follow-up.

Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and discovering new sales opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects, engage sales executives for further development, and move leads through the sales process.
  • Sales Strategy Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to refine the company’s lead-generation playbook.
  • Needs Analysis: Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services to meet those needs.
  • Relationship Building: Establish long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Market Exploration: Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and reengage old leads who have not previously converted.
  • Meeting Coordination: Set up meetings or calls between potential customers and sales executives.
  • Reporting: Report to the founding team with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to track progress and impact.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Increased Lead Generation: You have successfully increased the number of new leads through effective outreach and relationship building.
  • Enhanced Sales Pipeline: Your efforts have resulted in a robust pipeline of interested prospects, contributing significantly to the sales cycle.
  • Strong Market Presence: Through proactive market exploration and re-engagement of old leads, you have expanded the company’s market presence and opened new avenues for growth.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales development role, preferably within the health and wellness industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and lead-generation processes.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce and other sales engagement platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to finding and developing new business opportunities.
