Based in Dubai and reporting into the Sales Support Manager MENA, the position holder will act as custodian of the order process, by entering, expediting, tracking, editing, and processing customer orders using SAP, maintaining customer files and track order status, answering customer enquiries, and giving information and helping to resolve issues.

Job Description

  • Order Processing within standard turnaround time, by entering the subtle elements from the quotations & customer order (PO) on the ERP platform
  • Obtaining customer affirmation by communicating with the Sales team prior to execution & issuing order acknowledgement
  • Coordinating on logistics & shipping details with Freight Forwarders to get most competitive option
  • Ensuring issuance of invoices within required timeline by coordinating with Projects team & Finance
  • Managing order books by coordinating with Projects team, Factories & Logistics to guarantee on time order delivery & legitimate documentation
  • Working closely with Sales team to ensure that the sales data on “Order Book” is clear up-to-date information on the order is provided to MW team
  • Escalating of delays and complaints in the order process, as and when needed
  • Monitoring of credit blocked customers, to minimize the possibility of bad debts by working closely with finance
  • Creating reports for Delivery Performance for MW on monthly basis or as required
  • Reporting Backorder, rolling forecasts, NCR, and customer complaints log sheet along with other reports when required

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor’s degree holder in any discipline
  • 3 -5 Years of relevant industry experience ideally with construction, access solutions, or any industrial business
  • Good knowledge in SAP
  • A demonstrated capability to meet established deadlines and to work under pressure in a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a keen eye on details
  • Excellent command of English, Arabic language is an added advantage
  • Customer service mindset and an excellent track record of embracing company values
  • Team-player but capable of working with limited supervision
  • Good knowledge of IT and computer systems
