Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring that they are safe and in optimal working condition. This is a dynamic role that requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify potential issues
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle problems
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate repair and maintenance processes
• Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and attend relevant training sessions
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Completion of an accredited automotive service technician program
• ASE certification or equivalent preferred
• Proven experience in performing repairs and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Solid communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed
