We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Public Affairs Officer. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans to promote our organization's objectives and initiatives
  • Create engaging content for press releases, speeches, articles, and social media platforms
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders
  • Proactively monitor and analyze public opinion and media coverage to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Serve as a spokesperson for our organization, effectively conveying our key messages and responding to inquiries from the media and the public
  • Coordinate and execute outreach events, such as press conferences and community forums
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in public affairs or a similar role
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing strategic communication plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools
  • Familiarity with public relations practices and media relations
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
