Key Responsibilities :

• Installing and configuring avionics hardware and software according to specifications.
• Performing test and checks on avionics systems to ensure they meet required standards and regulations.
• Troubleshooting and repairing avionics components and systems, identifying faults, and implementing solutions.
• Assisting in the development and execution of test procedures for avionics systems during ground, bench, and flight tests (ATPs & FTPs).
• Documenting maintenance actions and test results, maintaining accurate records as per regulatory and organizational standards (as-build) history.
• Updating system hardware and software and performing system upgrades as required.
• Collaborating with engineers and other technicians to integrate avionics systems.
• Comply with all industry safety and quality regulations during maintenance and testing activities.
  
  

Education & Experience:

• National Diploma in Electrical or Electronic engineering or Artisan equivalent
• Experience minimum of 3 years post qualification in the aerospace industry
• In-depth knowledge of avionics systems, including diagnostics and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience with electronic and avionic testing tools.
• Ability to read, interpret and contribute to improvement of technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes.
• Effective communication skills for working collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in handling complex technical tasks and maintaining stringent safety protocols.
• Excellent understanding of electronic and electrical principles and systems
• Must work neatly and orderly and actively partake in hanger maintenance and tool control.
• Experience in aircraft or UAV maintenance and operations.
• Experience in avionics system installation, maintenance, and operations, preferably with UAVs.
