As the Director – People & Culture Strategy and Strategic Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic agenda for the People & Culture Function within the Operating Unit. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker, adept at partnership across various levels of the organization, and possessing a strong background in project management, organizational development, talent management, and change leadership. This role is ideal for an HR professional with a passion for business and the ability to foster a growth culture in a shared-service HR model.
What You’ll Do For Us
- Business Planning: Collaborate across OU Strategy team, Strategic Business Partners, and Centres of Excellence to develop an integrated People & Culture business plan. Manage ongoing governance of initiatives, including budget, resources, and communication.
- Influence and Communication: Effectively influence stakeholders within and beyond the function concerning policies, procedures, and practices. Communicate regularly with internal and external parties, including senior executives, customers, and vendors.
- Strategic Project and Program Management:
- Design and lead strategic HR projects and programs, ensuring meticulous planning, execution, and evaluation to drive organizational effectiveness.
- Lead and optimize HR function routines, such as weekly and monthly People & Culture network routines. Ensure scorecards are in place, track OKRs, and translate insights into actionable plans.
- As a strategic business partner with Operating Unit:
- Facilitate the team effectiveness and reinforce networked ways of working
- Act as a coach and trusted advisor to the leadership team, and building capabilities.
- Co-accountable for shaping and executing Talent & Development, Culture and Total Rewards agenda in the location and with client stakeholders network
- Lead the continuous evolution of our Diversity and Inclusion strategies, ensuring practices meet organizational goals and targets.
- Collaborate with People Services for compliance and the continual advancement of people systems, policies, and procedures.
- Continue building People Management capabilities through processes related to Employee Experience, Performance Enhancement, Well-being, Rewards & Recognition, and Engagement.
- Agile and Dynamic Resourcing: Dedicated availability to participate in Dynamic Resourcing and Agile initiatives to ensure responsive adaptation to strategic needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Graduate degree required, an MBA in HR or Business Management preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in HR, Consulting, Organizational Development, and Talent Management within a multinational company.
- Understanding / experience in the Middle East region is preferred
- Mastery in business and people decision making through a data-driven and fact-based approach.
- Proven capability in developing People & Culture strategies
- Expertise in project development, managing high-impact projects, and formulating executive business cases.
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse and multiple stakeholders in a matrix and multicultural environment.
- Strong ability to understand, balance, prioritize, and formulate compelling strategies that align with business needs.
