Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and regulatory requirements including FAA, EASA, and other relevant authorities.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with QMS standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Prepare audit reports and follow up on corrective actions to address non-conformances.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Utilize various testing equipment and methodologies.
- Manage documentation related to quality assurance, including quality manuals, procedures, inspection records, and audit reports. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible.
- Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors. Conduct supplier audits and assessments, and work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance
- Identify, document, and investigate non-conformances. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance roles, preferably in the aviation/aerospace industry.
- In-depth knowledge of QMS standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and regulatory requirements including FAA, EASA, and other relevant authorities
- Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment, as well as quality management software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
