Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills, strong technical aptitude;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Comfortable, and successful, in multi-tasking;
  • Excellent track record in providing outstanding customer service;
  • Ability to work independently and within a global team;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - fluent in English;
  • 2+ Years in a customer facing role.
  • Fluent in Arabic

Knowledge of the following is a plus:

  • Knowledge of Cloud architecture
  • Understanding of the Microsoft Windows environment
  • Experience with remote Linux administration or scripting
  • Experience with Web Application Servers
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Oracle Databases
  • Knowledge/Experience in Project, Program or Portfolio management
  • Knowledge of current IT concepts, issues, practices, methodologies and trends
  • Knowledge of networking concepts

As a Support Engineer, you will be the technical interface to customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) for resolution of problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use of Oracle products. Your primary task will be to provide support to customers who contact the Oracle Solution Center and maintain high level of customer satisfaction while meeting guidelines (mostly through electronic means). Able to work with general guidance from senior support engineers and management and, in some areas, may work independently. Solutions often take time to develop through research, collaboration or problem replication.
