About The Job
Plans and manages Retail Lube operations within the assigned geographical locations to ensure achievement of sales/ revenue targets/ operational efficiencies, optimum client experience and quality standards in line with the corporate guidelines and retail strategy.
Key Accountabilities
HSSE
- Ensure following of ADNOC HSE rules and regulations regarding fire, safety and environment, as well as Municipality rules and regulations. Make sure all staff are aware of these rules and regulations and follows them strictly.
- Ensure all facilities are clean and tidy. Manage coordination with the cleaning service provider to address any issues. Report and record any incidents on time and take appropriate actions.
- Ensure the department adheres to the dress code as specified by Management.
Sales Management
- Ensures the achievement of budgeted area sales, gross margin and operational cost targets and manage inventory shrinkage, cash reporting targets and balancing of daily banking transactions to achieve efficient financial management.
- Ensures that the price changes are implemented to achieve the operational efficiencies.
Operations Management
- Plans and manages the overall performance of all Retail Lube activities within assigned region to oversee their operations, implement improvements and report performance to manager in order to support the achievement of profitability and quality standards.
- Manages the effective resource planning of all stations/ facilities ensuring timely availability of all material and adequately trained staff to manage peak hours and assure the delivery of optimum client experience across all locations within the assigned area at all times.
- Ensures that all stock lines are maintained in accordance with approved plans and set guidelines and promotional programs implemented in a timely and orderly fashion.
- Ensures stock wastage and shrinkage is maintained to the absolute minimal level to achieve optimum utilization of resources and operational efficiencies.
- Assess existing and future manpower and facility requirements in accordance with upcoming projects carried out near the lube change facilities that would boost or hinder demand and proactively alert management for corrective action.
- Advises on the necessary actions to be taken and recommends improvements to existing facilities/equipment where necessary to continually maintain world class quality standards, in line with the ADNOC brand image.
- Plans and undertakes regular inspection visits to each facilities including inspection of building, equipment, safety and fire prevention practices and provision of customer service, checking availability of products, relevant items and submitting inspection reports to management for further reference/action.
- Analyses various reports and records, such as daily statement of stocks and sales, record books and reconciliations as well as maintain the stock taking process to avoid shortage and/or excess across the assigned area to review performance and take corrective action to support alignment with defined operational excellence standards.
- Conduct random audits of stock control statements and cash against records, investigating reasons behind differences in amounts, preparing justifications and reporting to management.
- Ensures effective implementation of all inventory management policies and procedures to support achievement of operational efficiencies and cost optimizations.
Promotions and Advertising
- Implement the promotional activities in conjunction with the marketing plan for organizing sales and service promotion activities across all the facilities.
Job Purpose
Prepare design concepts for wells and amenities including defining and evaluating options for operating the field over the life of the development and creating and validating integrated production system models. Estimates capital expenditure and operating costs of the wells and facilities over the full life cycle of the field. Prepare proposals and schedules for well completions, testing and re-entry and participates in production optimization projects by carrying out, thorough investigation and proposals for stimulation, hydraulic fracturing, artificial lift and other operations enhancement methods aimed at meeting the company’s oil and gas production objectives.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
- Develop detailed proposals for all well completions, testing, workovers and re-entry programs, or special programs for well stimulation, hydraulic fracturing, artificial lift and corrosion and scaling inhibition. Reviews well history and verifies wellhead and downhole pressures, flow rates, etc., to design standard program features applicable to proposed work, or to serve as basis for more complex and innovative studies and designs. Locates and evaluates various techniques, equipment and contractor services to design and implement programs that fully meet team’s objectives and requirements for safe, efficient and cost effective operational and developmental projects.
- Analyse production and test data, prepares well status reports and notes anomalies for investigation.
- Identify re-entry candidates for inclusion in drilling sequence. Reviews performance of related wells and recommends additional or specialized tests and sample analyses to investigate and recommend short-term solutions or directs further testing and study of more complex problems, as appropriate. Also routinely liaises with Field Operations and Drilling to review production data acquisition, analyses procedures and recommends improvement, where feasible.
- Supervise operator and/or contractors carrying out hydraulic fracturing, special tests, stimulation, completion, estimates and monitors contract services and equipment costs for control of individual well budgets
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 2)
- Prepare regular management reports such as the weekly Exploration Division highlights, Daily exploration / appraisal well drilling reports; Monthly exploration / appraisal drilling overview and seismic bar chart and maps, etc.
- Provide recommendations to the Department Manager on the acquisition of new software and hardware related to well flow performance optimization and prepares justifications for these acquisitions.
- Support ADNOC at technical meetings with Group companies and its shareholders, SPC companies, contractors, vendors, universities, Petroleum Institute and other third parties on subjects concerning undeveloped gas reservoirs or ADNOC in general and comment on the petroleum engineering projects carried out by them.
- Carry out the delegated tasks to evaluate projects/studies carried out by Group companies, SPC companies, contractors and other third parties in Group companies’ joint ventures, on behalf of ADNOC, for joint ADNOC-third party studies or otherwise.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 5-6 years of Petroleum Engineering experience with strong experience in the drilling, well design and operations of sour gas wells completion and testing.
