IT Service Desk Support Specialist

Role Purpose:


The IT Service Desk Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support for the BackOffice users on various business applications

Key Responsibilities:


  • Inspect personal computer equipment, as well as install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives on user's premises
  • Ensure ongoing and consistence maintenance and update of the Group’s active directory
  • Install and configure specified software packages such as operating systems, business applications and other office tools and performs maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Provide on-site and remote support to users’ requests in relation to networking, operating system, system hardware diagnoses, software and operator problems
  • Initiate applications trouble shooting for business applications, point of sale…
  • Initiate systems/network troubleshooting and monitoring and ensure that defective components are replaced as needed
  • Manage the reported requests and incidents on the service desk system, and provide updates, status and completion information


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar field
  • Experience in Windows operating systems and networking
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office
