Job Brief:
Responsible for managing all finance aspects in Egypt. Working with business unit managers, advising them of current budgetary information and creating a fiscal strategy that aligns with the goals of the organization.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing financial accounting, MIS reporting, internal control and cash flow management.
- Manage and ensure that audits are conducted smoothly and statutory filing are done on a timely basis.
- Resolve various issues with the auditors by providing information and explanations.
- Review customer and vendor contracts and ensure that they comply with the pricing policy, tendering process and are done in the best interests of the company and on best terms.
- Working closely with the CEO and rest of the management team and provide them with reports/inputs as may be necessary for managerial decision making.
- Setting up accounting and reporting systems, processes and policies .
- Ensuring receivables are collected on time and doing credit review of customers.
- Preparation of financial statements in compliance with local GAAP.
- Preparation of budgets in line with the business requirements and making management presentations.
- Assisting management in running financial feasibility for projects/capex investments.
- Ensuring Tax compliance in accordance with local legislations and ensuring all statutory returns are filed.
- Managing treasury/cash flow functions- servicing of debt and ensuring compliance with loan covenants
