Position Overview: The Analyst, Sales Support will provide analysis, insights, and business decision support to the Commercial Team. This role involves building strong relationships internally with teams across Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain. You will be responsible for delivering ongoing operational support and contributing to key business decisions. This position sits within the Commercial Function and reports directly to the Director, Sales of Egypt.

Responsibilities:

  • Use a combination of analytical and communication skills to develop recommendations, influence commercial decisions, and govern related processes.
  • Drive systems and process improvements through collaboration with the commercial team and other functions.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Team to analyze key market sales data, including:
  • Sell-out reports per customer, SKU, area, top customers, sales opportunities, and sales trends (e.g., comparison vs. last year).
  • Provide customer-level sales reports to the Commercial Team.
  • Conduct market/sales analysis to detect market trends and competitor movements.
  • Assist in maintaining the Sales Support System (Sales Buzz BI).
  • Provide organizational and planning support for Key Account Managers (KAMs) during regional trade shows and associated materials.
  • Support the Commercial Team with administrative duties and mailing programs as needed.
  • Assist with preparing materials for customer meetings (e.g., presentations) and participate in meetings as required.
  • Develop, automate, monitor, and report on key metrics such as volumes, net sales, and gross margin.
  • Share best practices and insights across the Commercial Team.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • English proficiency (written and oral).
  • Highly developed IT skills, particularly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical ability, with a passion for numbers and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while delivering high-quality output.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexible and responsive working style.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in Admin, Finance, or Sales.
  • Familiarity with Sales Buzz or similar sales systems.
  • Experience working within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
